Definition – What does Social Trader mean?

A social trader is forex trader who shares information about the market and his or her trades with an online community. A social trader can use the analysis of other traders in making trade decisions or even mimic trades and strategies that have been posted.

ForexTerms explains Social Trader

Social trading has grown substantially due to social media platforms. Twitter emerged early on as a way for traders to share information and trades in real-time. Since then, dedicated platforms have evolved to serve communities and allow traders to create their own sub-communities of followers, gurus and so on.
